Education and skills upgrading are vital to keep up with the ever changing entertainment industry. Kodak Entertainment Imaging is strongly committed to ensuring that the student filmmaker has access to the tools and information necessary in helping them realize their full potential.
We distribute educational module programs, conduct cinematography workshops, and provide product literature to film schools across Canada. And we developed the Kodak Student Discount Program to offer film school students special discounts on Kodak Motion Picture Film products.
As a key sponsor of numerous Student Film Festivals, Kodak provides awards and film grants to emerging filmmakers whose work demonstrates excellence in the art of cinematography. The Kodak Director's Award, presented annually at the Montreal World Film Festival, offers a tremendous opportunity for the Best New Canadian Student Director to network with key international industry individuals at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Kodak Emerging Filmmaker Showcase.
