Kodak's On Campus Day at UCLA
October 2006
Kodak held a day of in-depth discussions, hands-on workshops and product demonstrations for film school students and faculty from Southern California on October 7, 2006, at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) campus. Participants gained insights on all aspects of filmmaking from preproduction through postproduction and archiving. Kodak also held Stop By Shoot Film workshops, and demonstrated the latest version of the company’s Look Manager System.
“Kodak On Campus Day was a unique experience for me. All Kodak representatives gave me a wealth of information and knowledge, as did the speakers on the cinematography panel. But the real perk was the privilege of operating the Super 16 and ARRI 35 camera and anticipating how the look will be when the DVD comes in. That was by far an inspiring and adrenaline rush moment in addition to getting answers to film format questions that have lingered for so long for me. I look forward to moving into the field of filming since you opened my eyes, and to keeping up with the craft.” - David Alonso, UCLA student
