Installing Software


Installing the KODAK Display Manager Software 
  • Installing and setting up your system Full instuctions  342K, 9pgsTo purchase a license:
  • 1. (WINDOWS) Click Start > Programs > KODAK Display Manager System > KODAK HostID Tool. (LINUX, IRIX, MACINTOSH systems) In the Display Manager System main folder locate the KODAK HostID Tool and open the file. The following window opens.
  • 2. Record your HostID and click OK.
  • 3. Enter the hostID when requesting the license. A new licence will be emailed to you.
  • 4. Copy license file to .../Licences directory where software is installed.
  • 3. Paste in the old key when prompted. A new key will be emailed to you.
  • 4. Reopen the application and paste in the new key when prompted.
  • 5. Click OK.
  • 6. For instructions on how to use the system, click Help > Contents.
Connecting the Hardware

Disconnect the monitor cable from the PC. Connect the enable cable to the monitor port and connect the monitor cable to the enable cable. Plug into a USB port.
Connect the sensor to a USB port.
To extend the cable length, place a repeater every 5 meters (16.4 feet). Maximum of 5 repeaters. For longer USB runs, a USB/Ethernet adapter may be used allowing point to point connection via CAT 5e cable.

Optimize your Results

Enter information about your film projector and your lab process. Click Help > Contents for more information.
Make sure scanners and recorders are properly calibrated.
