Bucks Laboratories film processing |
Bucks Laboratories based in Slough, UK has become the first laboratory in England to successfully complete KODAK IMAGECARE Program certification.
Bucks Laboratories is an independent facility with a strong emphasis on personal service and a total commitment to quality. It was set up in 1976 initially providing Super 8mm bulk printing services to Walt Disney. The lab quickly expanded to provide bulk printing and camera negative processing services in all gauges. Quality and innovation have always been at the forefront of the lab’s activities and it was the first in the UK to achieve ISO 9002 quality accreditation in 1997.
The lab has recently developed its in-house UTOPIA system which provides integrated software-control of all its printing and processing activities. The latest colour negative processing machine which has been recently installed is totally software controlled to provide the highest level of quality and consistency and was instrumental in helping achieve the Imagecare accreditation. The processing department is headed by Alan Leaper who has had extensive experience in the laboratory industry and is responsible for the Imagecare programme at Bucks.
“Bucks Laboratories is extremely pleased to have achieved accreditation to the KODAK IMAGECARE Program,” said David Buck, MD at Bucks Lab. “ We are well aware of the status and significance of this quality award which we are hoping will lead to increased business both from the UK and internationally.”
Bucks Laboratories joins the ever-growing network of KODAK IMAGECARE Program-accredited labs that provide customers with exceptional quality standards and complete peace of mind.
