Lights. Camera. Cannes!

On May 11th, the 64th installation of the Cannes Film Festival opens its doors to thousands of filmmakers, film stars and film lovers from around the globe. In addition to the gowns and the glamour, Cannes is one of the biggest international venues for showcasing new films and appreciating the incredible stories that have been brought to life by some of the world’s most talented and creative people.

Once again this year, Kodak will be at Cannes to help celebrate the industry’s accomplishments and shine a light on those artists who chose Kodak film to produce their pictures with world-renowned quality.

The feature films and shorts in the 2011 official competition include many productions that used Kodak products. We’re very pleased to note that this year’s festival opener, Woody Allen’s latest feature Midnight in Paris, was also shot on Kodak film and is a testament to the fact that directors, producers and cinematographers continue to trust film origination for the highest quality and very best results.

We look forward to another great festival, and connecting with our industry partners and customers at this preeminent venue. As with every year, Kodak is proud to play a role in saluting the artistry and creative passions of the motion picture industry at the Cannes Film Festival.
