The 59th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity kicks off on June 17. For one week each summer, a wave of ingenuity and inspiration hits the beaches of the French Riviera as the global creative communications industries arrive.

Kodak is proud of its long and storied history at Cannes Lions, with many Gold Lions awarded to commercials shot on Kodak film, including the last three Film Grand Prix winners. This past year, we were once again honored to have some of the year’s most memorable spots captured on our motion picture film, including the following:
Budweiser’s “Return of the King” was produced by RSA Films, created by Anomaly, directed by Jake Scott, and beautifully photographed by cinematographer Chris Soos. In a dramatic and epic style, this spot takes viewers back in time to the end of prohibition.
“It's Halftime in America: Super Bowl XLVI” was produced by Chelsea and created Weiden+Kennedy. The spot for Chrysler was directed by David Gordon Green with stunning visuals captured by Eric Treml. The two-minute pep talk for America is delivered by Clint Eastwood, and highlights the comeback of the automaker.
"Midnight Run for Milk" Salma Hayek runs into all sorts of hurdles while out to get a carton of milk in Deutsch New York’s latest ad for the Milk Processor Education Program. Produced by Independent Media, the spot was both directed and photographed by Oscar®-winner Wally Pfister, ASC, BSC.
