Christopher Baffa, ASC
Christopher Baffa, ASC is director of photography on the runaway hit 20th Century Fox Television series Glee, which takes a funny, yet touching, look at the petty politics and peccadilloes of a high school glee club. Prior to Glee, Baffa photographed the majority of F/X network’s Nip/Tuck. That visually bold series, which ran for seven seasons, was created by Ryan Murphy, who is also the mind behind Glee. Baffa’s other credits include the feature films Suicide Kings, Carnival of Souls, and Running with Scissors. Here, he discusses his approach to telling stories with images, and reveals the thought process behind the many choices on set that help produce Glee on time, on budget, and with the highest visual standards.
