Reflection photographic gray scales are available calibrated or uncalibrated, and are intended for inclusion in the original scene to be photographed. They are helpful in balancing and identifying color separation negatives. Calibrated KODAK Photographic Paper Gray Scales are made in accordance with the requirements of ISO 5-3 and ISO 5-4.
These silver-density gray scales are exposed on glossy, medium weight photographic paper with 12 steps (20 mm wide along the 10 dimension (with a nominal density increment of 0.15 and a density range of 0.1 to 1.8.
